Kestrel launched the Kestrel Opportunities Fund (KOF) in November 2009 with the objective of achieving long term capital appreciation by investing in a concentrated portfolio of small capitalisation companies quoted on the official list or AIM.
Each of our core investment holdings meets our strict investment criteria. Our strategy is to invest in companies we feel are undervalued but offer significant growth potential and then to work closely with management teams to unlock latent value and deliver long-term capital growth and liquidity.
Our investment managers Max Royde and Oliver Scott have over 40 years’ experience investing in, and advising smaller companies. They both sit on the KOF Investment Committee which is chaired by Ari Zaphiriou-Zarifi.
Kestrel Opportunities is a Guernsey-based OEIC. Whilst the fund is currently closed, shares occasionally become available in the secondary market which are allocated to subscribers on a first come, first served basis. As an Unregulated Collective Investment Scheme (“UCIS”), KOF may only accept applications from certain categories of eligible investors such as Investment Professionals, Sophisticated Investors, High Net Worth Individuals etc.
